growing older
as if by vertigo
gulfing moments
of giggling motions
head-dropping tulips
along lines of blue
elephantine hooves
white wing bars blurring
on mockingbirds
as servants in a hermitage
rarely emerging
from shored-up immersive
churches exploding fireworks...
