and swatting away accusatuons

mislabeled disabled investigations
proclaiming, “It’s a disgrace!”
having made serious mistakes
replete with warning labels
ascribing blame to poor relations

being put on public display
railing against dwindling birth rates
while lying awake miles and miles away
scouring for remains of defeated candidates
in order to fuel heated debates
intending to imagine modern-day
global affirmation menace still waiting

claiming, “There is no safety!”
exposure on the highest elevations
rain coursing across pane
pelting lattices of haze
the tics the shame sick headaches
single-lit pathos warped terrain...
