“Game Options”
by Suzán Jiván Mom & Mom-Mom Suzán
Game options, pulling some strings, maybe
said without saying, rapped off stage a ways
going astray as ne’er-do-well deal makers
wait for it - staving off sticking say
getting ready to accept unwell guests plagued
while operating covertly in alleyways
emulating sinuous contagious creatures, say

by Suzán Jiván Mom & Mom-Mom Suzán
Traipsing barefoot
second guessing scant confidence

towards interlocking goblets …

“Tossed Out”
by Suzán Jiván Mom & Mom-Mom Suzán
Tossed out of the maddening crowd

thanks to weighing in to stunning intimacy
subtlety shifting into mini spelling bees
and nimble paper clips
of less than a tenth of an inch …
“Wandering Creativity”
by Suzán Jiván Mom & Mom-Mom Suzán
Wandering creativity
paintings puppets sculpture and tapestry
along with a fascination for masking
into all-over abstract patterns
jazzily flattened beautiful yet practical
doing it all on your wall or on your back
bold and saturated exquisite if unbalanced
locking onto fragments of gray and salmon
seen at hard-edged angles
like encounters with our counterparts …
